The LA DWP Valley Generating Station is a power generating facility located at 11801 Sheldon St., Sun Valley, CA91352 which was used as filming location for the Star Trek: Voyager fourth season episode "Concerning Flight". [1]

On Tuesday, 16 September 1997 the production went to this location in Sun Valley which stood in as the high-tech storage facility owned by Tau outside of the city on an alien planet in the Delta Quadrant. Here, actors Kate Mulgrew and John Rhys-Davies tried to break into the facility to retrieve the computer processor of the USS Voyager.

The call sheet for this day features an attached map of the route from the Paramount Pictures Studios to the location. Sunrise was expected to be at 6:37 am and sunset at 6:58 pm. The call sheet also features some notes and advises including the info about a designated smoking area near the trucks and that everyone had to wear hard hats within the facility. Breakfast and lunch were provided by the catering service The Arrangement at 5:30 am and 12:30 pm. The local contact of the production was Wayne White.

Beside actors Mulgrew and Rhys-Davies, featured actors Ty Murphy and Andrew Alden and Stunt actor Bobby Aldridge under stunt coordination by Dennis Madalone filmed scenes on location. Stand-ins Sue Henley, Keith Rayve, and J.R. Quinonez were also on location as well as location manager Lisa White.

This location was also used as filming location for episodes of the television series The Mod Squad (1970, starring Clarence Williams III), Emergency! (1972, starring Kevin Tighe), and The Incredible Hulk (1980, directed by Reza Badiyi and produced by Nicholas Corea and Jill Donner). [2] [3]
