The LD sleeping quarters were bunk beds integrated in the corridors of the lower decks of a California-class starship. These barracks-style group crew quarters were designated for junior officers and were located on Deck 11. (LD: "Terminal Provocations")

Each individual officer's compartment included their personal effects, a replicator, and storage for uniforms. Officers assigned to LD sleeping quarters used communal, all-gender sonic showers. (LD: "Second Contact", "Kayshon, His Eyes Open")

Once junior officers ranked up, they could have their own rooms. (LD: "Second Contact", "Room for Growth")
