A laborer or worker – known collectively as a labor force, workforce, or work detail – was an employee who worked for an employer, often performing manual labor. A co-worker was a fellow employee.

When considering a romantic relationship with Nella Daren, Jean-Luc Picard confided to Deanna Troi that "relationships with co-workers can be fraught with consequences," a statement with which she agreed to be true. (TNG: "Lessons")

Unskilled laborers produced the art genre folk art. (TOS: "Wolf in the Fold")

Gallitep

Bajoran laborers were held at the Gallitep labor camp on Bajor in 2357. (DS9: "Duet")

During the 16th century, the T-Rogorans conquered a race of farmers known as the Skrreeans. They killed most of the Skrreean leaders, and forced the rest of the population to work as laborers and servants. (DS9: "Sanctuary")

0413 Theta

0413 Theta, a Terran laborer

In the mirror universe, Terran laborers worked as slaves on the space station Terok Nor. One of these laborers had the designation 0413 Theta. (DS9: "Crossover")

General Martok once served as a civilian laborer for five years aboard ShiVang's flagship as part of the Klingon Defense Force. (DS9: "Once More Unto the Breach")

The crew of the USS Voyager was captured and brainwashed by the Quarren to work as laborers on Quarra in 2377. (VOY: "Workforce", "Workforce, Part II")

The Nuu'Bari employed primitive holograms as laborers. (VOY: "Flesh and Blood")
