Le Coeur de Lion was a restaurant in a Hirogen-created holoprogram set in 1944, in the Nazi-occupied town of Sainte Claire in France.
Le Coeur de Lion was run by Katrine, who, dressed in a white tuxedo, circulated among the guests to share stories and actively manage the business. It offered food (including snails), wine (including Château Latour), and entertainment; Mademoiselle de Neuf was the establishment's singer, with Claude as her piano player. It also had a bartender.
Le Coeur de Lion was frequented both by French civilians and German military personnel and accepted both Francs and Reichsmark for services rendered. Katrine's motto for the establishment was "Leave the war outside."
It also housed the local French Resistance cell, led by Katrine, which included de Neuf, the bartender, and several other citizens of Sainte Claire. (VOY: "The Killing Game")
When American forces invaded the city, Captain Miller of the US 5th Armored Infantry set up a command post in the restaurant. (VOY: "The Killing Game, Part II")
"Le Coeur de Lion" is French for "The Heart of the Lion".
