Referenced in the first draft script of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine seventh season episode "When It Rains...", the Likarian asteroid belt was an asteroid belt that had a perimeter located near the planet Avandi Prime.
In the script, this asteroid belt was traversed by a runabout containing Kira Nerys, Elim Garak and Odo, at Garak's suggestion. He believed that ducking inside the asteroid belt might help the runabout to avoid detection by the Breen-Dominion Alliance, while they were traveling from Deep Space 9 to Avandi Prime.
