It is yet to be revealed if the team was based out of London, Great Britain, UK or based out of London, Ontario, Canada. Since the mention of the World Series implies the team was a part of Major League Baseball (as they own trademark to the World Series name), whose teams since 1869 (as of 2005) are all based from North America, the latter seems more likely. However, given the history of the Earth up to the year 2042, it is also possible that the sport became a truly global spectacle.
