Lonz was a Ferengi renowned for his successful reign as Grand Nagus.

In 2381, one of Captain Gem's subordinates remarked that Gem thought Grand Nagus Rom was "the next Lonz". (LD: "Parth Ferengi's Heart Place")

This character was only mentioned in dialogue.

Lonz was first mentioned in Legends of the Ferengi as the inspiration for the 22nd Rule of Acquisition.
