In 2381, Mandel arrived aboard the USS Cerritos to arrest Captain Carol Freeman for the destruction of Pakled Planet. (LD: "First First Contact")
After Freeman was exhonerated, Mandel was alongside the Cerritos senior crew and the team that uncovered the true culprits behind the bombing of Pakled Planet. (LD: "Grounded")
