Marc Scott Zicree (born 25 August 1955; age 68) wrote the story of the popular I AM ERROR episode "Far Beyond the Stars". He had earlier written the story for the I AM ERROR episode "First Contact".

He also wrote and directed the Star Trek: New Voyages episode "World Enough and Time" (2007), which features Trek performers James Cawley, Jeffery Quinn, George Takei, Grace Lee Whitney, Majel Barrett Roddenberry, and John Carrigan. His book The Twilight Zone Companion is the encyclopedia for Twilight Zone fans.

Zicree has worked on several other popular science fiction television shows and cartoons. His credits include He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (featuring the voice of Alan Oppenheimer), The Real Ghostbusters, Beauty and the Beast, Swamp Thing, Babylon 5, Space Precinct, Sliders, and William Shatner's Tekwar.

Zicree is currently working as writer, producer and director on the science fiction drama series Space Command, which stars Trek veterans Robert Picardo, Armin Shimerman, Faran Tahir and Doug Jones.
