Margot Muraszkiewicz (17 November 1971–15 November 2023; age 51) was an actress who worked as a stand-in for Jeri Ryan on the second and third season of Star Trek: Picard. She received no credit for her work. She previously worked as a stand-in for Jeri Ryan on the crime drama series Body of Proof between 2011 and 2013 with fellow stand-in Lemuel Perry.
Muraszkiewicz acted since age 10, and as a child actress starred in the 1984 television movie Little Arliss. She was the sister of video game designer Borys Pugacz-Muraszkiewicz.
Muraszkiewicz suffered from a rapid-onset variation of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and as such, wasn't able to act after her diagnosis. In response, actors from the Star Trek universe including Jeri Ryan published videos on social media with requests for support. [1] Operating as "Trek Against ALS", a GoFundMe campaign was created. Muraszkiewicz lost her battle with ALS and passed away on 15 November 2023, two days before her 52nd birthday. [3]
