For the similarly named DS9 background actor, please see Mark Allen Shepherd.

Mark A. Sheppard (born 30 May 1964; age 60) is a British actor who played Leucon in the Star Trek: Voyager sixth season episode "Child's Play". He is the son of fellow Voyager guest star W. Morgan Sheppard, making him one of the few children of a Star Trek guest actor to appear on Star Trek.

He directed his father and Salome Jens in Room 101. He also appeared in Firefly, alongside various Trek actors such as Ron Glass. He also had a recurring role as a villain in 24, which featured several other Trek actors, including fellow Voyager guest star Gregory Itzin, Jude Ciccolella, Glenn Morshower, and Roger Cross.

In 2006, Sheppard appeared on Ronald D. Moore's Battlestar Galactica, alongside Rekha Sharma and James Callis. The series previously featured Dean Stockwell, Kate Vernon, Michelle Forbes, and Rick Worthy, but he did not perform with any of these performers. In 2007, he joined the cast of Bionic Woman, where he clashed with former Star Trek III: The Search for Spock actor, Miguel Ferrer.

In 2008 and 2009, Sheppard appeared on the series Leverage, which has also featured Saul Rubinek, Brent Spiner, Armin Shimerman, Wil Wheaton, Jeri Ryan, John Billingsley, and two cameos by Jonathan Frakes, who also directed thirteen episodes. He also has a recurring role as FBI agent Tanaka in Dollhouse (2009), where he appeared in episodes with Rico E. Anderson, Erin Cummings, Clayton Rohner, Raphael Sbarge, Maury Sterling, and stuntmen Gary Wayton and Mike Gunther.

Also in 2009, Sheppard had a small, non-speaking role in an episode of NCIS, appearing as a younger version of "Mr. Pain", a character played by his father as an older man in the same episode. This was the first of three different productions in which Sheppard and his father appeared together, playing the same character at different ages. The other two were the 2011 episode "The Impossible Astronaut" of the British TV series Doctor Who, and Captain Nemo in 2012's Jules Verne's Mysterious Island.

Mark Sheppard and W. Morgan Sheppard are among the small number of actors who have appeared in both the Star Trek and Doctor Who franchises.

From 2009 to 2017, Sheppard played Crowley, the "King of Hell," a recurring character on Supernatural, in which he appeared with Samantha Smith, Kim Rhodes, Jim Beaver, Matt Frewer, Fiona Vroom, Lauren Tom, and Conrad Coates.
