Mark Buckingham (born 23 May 1966; age 57) is an English comic book artist and author. He worked with Aarman Animation Studios in 1986 and 1987 while completing his degree at Staffordshire University. When he was done, he joined DC's Vertigo Studios and inked a number of titles including Hellblazer, Shade, and Sandman (with his future best man, Neil Gaiman). He also created Miracleman with Neil Gaiman.

He began working for Marvel Comics, penciling the Mortigan Goth: Immortalis limited series for the UK office. In addition to that, he worked on the Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, and Peter Parker, Spider-Man titles. He also contributed pencil art to the first four issues of Star Trek Unlimited, penciling stories featuring the crew from the Original Series.

More recently, he has become one of the main pencil artists on Fables with Vertigo Studios.
