Mark Tobin is an actor who made two appearances on Star Trek: The Original Series.

He filmed his scenes for his first appearance, as Joaquin in "Space Seed", on Tuesday 20 December 1966 and Thursday 22 December 1966 at Desilu Stage 9 and Stage 10. His second appearance, as Klingon in "Day of the Dove", were filmed on Wednesday 28 August 1968 and Thursday 29 August 1968 at Stage 9.

One of Tobin's first exposures to a television audience was as a "hopeful young actor" on Lucille Ball's Desilu Revue (1959), a Christmas musical variety show. Among the sixteen hopefuls to appear with Tobin were the up-and-coming Majel Barrett and Roger Perry.

Tobin's early work included guest shots on the television series Lock Up (1959) and Tombstone Territory (1960), as well as the films Li'l Abner (1959), with Julie Newmar, Dick Cherney, Walt Davis, and Nick Dimitri, and The Man From the Diner's Club (1963).

By the mid-60s, in addition to his Star Trek appearances, Tobin appeared on the series Combat! (1965/66), with Ed Peck and Walt Davis, and McHale's Navy (1966), with David Opatoshu and Tania Lemani.

He, and others, were later acknowledged by Greg Cox in the 2005 novel To Reign in Hell: The Exile of Khan Noonien Singh, for Tobin's performance as Joaquin, as it "brought those characters to life in my mind."
