Martin Goslins (born 14 January 1939; age 85) is the actor who played Satok in the Star Trek: The Next Generation seventh season episode "Gambit, Part II".
The son of a doctor, Goslins survived the Nazis, and afterward was a war refugee who immigrated to the United States in 1953. After attending high school in Downey, California, he became a dentist, later took up acting, before finally becoming a lawyer. [1]
Beside his work on Star Trek, Goslins was featured in the science fiction adventure Access Code (1984, with Michael Ansara and Michael Durrell), the science fiction comedy Amazon Women on the Moon (1987, with Robert Picardo, Bernie Casey, Ronny Cox, William Marshall, Dick Miller, Karen Montgomery, Ed Begley, Jr., and Larry A. Hankin), the television drama False Witness (1989, with Joycelyn O'Brien), the thriller Hider in the House (1989, with Michael McKean), the television drama Fire in the Dark (1991, with Ray Wise, George Hearn, and Paul Scherrer), and the episodic drama Inside Out III (1992, with Alison Brooks and Alex Datcher).
He also appeared in episodes of Murder, She Wrote (1993, with Julian Christopher and Stewart Moss) and L.A. Law (1994, with Corbin Bernsen, Larry Drake, Dion Anderson, Joanna Cassidy, Jordan Lund, Carolyn Seymour, Kate Vernon, and Tracey Walter).
