Mary Stein (born 17 June 1958; age 66) is an actress who played a Devidian woman in Human form in the Star Trek: The Next Generation sixth season episode "Time's Arrow, Part II". She took over the role from background actress Eugenie Bondurant who previously played this character in the fifth season episode "Time's Arrow".
Stein was born in Marquette, Michigan and attended The Juilliard School in New York. She has been seen in many stage plays and over a hundred television commercials. Today she is a meditative healer, practicing Sat Nam Rasayan, and has participated in several charity programs for kids.
Among her acting credits are films such as Alice (1990, with Keye Luke, Diane Salinger, David Spielberg, and Peggy Miley), Man of the Year (1995), Babe: Pig in the City (1998, with James Cromwell, and Van Epperson), How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000, with Clint Howard, Steve Kehela, Bill Irwin and Darlene Williams), Monkeybone (2001, with Whoopi Goldberg, Doug Jones, Scott Workman, and John Escobar), Men in Black II (2002, with Jack Kehler, Kevin Grevioux, Derek Mears, Joni Avery, and Ransom Gates), and Portal (2007).
Television credits include Murphy Brown (1993, with Scott Bakula), Deadly Games (1995, with Christopher Lloyd and Paul Eiding), and recurring roles in Providence (2002, with Jeffrey Nordling and Cress Williams) and General Hospital (2006).
More recently, Stein guest starred in episodes of Unfabulous (2007) and The Ex List (2008) and had supporting roles in Changeling (2008, with Ric Sarabia, John Harrington Bland, Colby French, Scott Leva, and Patrizia Milano), the science fiction film Portal (2009), and the war drama Little Boy (2012, with Cary-Hiroyuki, James G. MacDonald, Lukas Behnken, and Ric Sarabia).
