Matthias Hues (born 14 February 1959; age 65) is an actor who played a Klingon general in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

Hues, born in Waltrop, West Germany, comes from a family of actors and musicians and is a relative of 19th century composer and musician Engelbert Humperdinck. He is a martial artist and has started his career as an athlete and then moved to Los Angeles, where he was discovered in the Gold's Gym in Venice, California.

Among his acting resume are films such as No Retreat, No Surrender 2: Raging Thunder (1988), the evil leading role in Dark Angel (1990, with Sherman Howard, Sam Anderson, Michael J. Pollard, Tony Brubaker, Gary Baxley, and stunts by Robert Herron, Paul Baxley, and Doug Coleman), Cyber Vengeance (1995, with Tony Cecere), Executive Target (1997, with Robert Miano, Mike Genovese, Lance LeGault, and stunts by Irving Lewis, Chuck Borden, Chris Doyle, Brennan Dyson, and Merritt Yohnka), Legion of the Dead (2001, with Gwen Van Dam), D-War (2007, with Derek Mears, and stunts by Thom Williams, Brian Avery, and Ator Tamras), and Immortally Yours (2007).

He also has appeared in television series such as Tequila & Bonetti (1992, starring Charles Rocket, and guest starring Robert Knepper and Russ Fega), Conan (1997, starring Jeremy Kemp), and Power Rangers Lost Galaxy (1999).
