Maurice LaMarche (born 30 March 1958; age 66) is a Canadian voice actor, comedian and impressionist who voiced Lieutenant Drew Prachett and Ensign Ellis in the Star Trek: Lower Decks first season episode "Much Ado About Boimler".

He also contributed various voices to the video game Star Trek: Starfleet Command - Orion Pirates.

He is perhaps best known as "The Brain" in Animaniacs and his numerous voices on Futurama (with Phil LaMarr, Dawnn Lewis and Lauren Tom). He provided the voice of Orson Welles in Ed Wood (1994, starring Martin Landau, featuring Biff Yeager, Mike Starr, and Daniel Riordan).

LaMarche is a self-confessed Trekkie, and in his early years as a stand-up comic, he often performed Star Trek impressions, including a spoof of Christopher Lloyd as Kruge in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. [1]
