Your user name or IP address has currently been blocked from making edits to the Memory Alpha database.
- Blocked by: $1
- Reason: $2
- Expires: $6.
You can contact $4 via email, or alternatively find one of the other administrators to discuss the reasons for the block. If you believe that the community's bans and blocks policy was violated in some way, you can also discuss the block publicly on your talk page.
Your current IP address is $3 – please include this address in any communications with the administrators.
Note that you may not use the "email this user" utility unless you already have a valid email address registered in your preferences. If you would like to know when the block will expire, please see the block list. If you need to see the wikitext of an article, you can use the export pages feature.
Are you innocent?
In rare instances, it may be necessary to block IP ranges or shared proxies. This means that innocent people may not be able to edit pages on Memory Alpha. If this is the case, then the reason should have been explained above.
Alternatively, some individual dynamic IP addresses may have been blocked, but usually only for a 24-hour period. If you are using a dynamic IP address (which is usually used by those with dial-up Internet connections), then you may be unintentionally using the same IP address as someone who previously vandalized Memory Alpha.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience our block has caused. If you encounter this problem repeatedly (and for a period longer than 24 hours), please help us resolve the issue by contacting one of the administrators, as well as your Internet Service Provider.
Are you just reading?
No users are ever blocked from just reading Memory Alpha articles. If you are reading this message, you most likely followed a red link. On Memory Alpha, red links point to articles that do not yet exist, and normally take users to an editing screen. If you only wish to read at Memory Alpha, you should only follow the blue links.
