In 2373, Julian Bashir attended a burn treatment conference on Meezan IV, during which he was abducted by the Dominion and replaced by a Changeling infiltrator. The real Bashir was detained at Internment Camp 371 in the Gamma Quadrant for over a month. (DS9: "In Purgatory's Shadow")
This planet was only mentioned in dialogue.
According to his personnel file in the non-canon video game Star Trek: Starship Creator, Barnaby's brother Harold lives on Meezan IV.
