:The only pictures we allow in the articles are screwnshots, or recreations from screenshots (for insignia and such). Since this image is not a shot from the show, at least directly, it could only be used in a background section or the like. Also, the quality isn't the greatest. - <span style="color:#00ff00;">Archduk3:</span>talk 08:37, December 10, 2009 (UTC)

This file was apparently uploaded to illustrate the mobile emitter and temporal transmitter, but achieves neither particularly successfully due to the size and edge-on view. — <span style="color:#CC0000;">THOR</span> <span style="color:#FF9933;">=/\=</span> 01:49, December 11, 2009 (UTC)

File:Ariel2 enhanced partial.jpg

Uploaded and never used anywhere. I really see no long term use for this image. --Alan 15:55, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

Why do you want to delete my image? And is this a maintenance thing or just your opinion. jjlongiii
What episode was this particular ship in? Anyway, agreed on deletion - I see this image not being used at all. — Morder (talk) 10:38, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
Both a "maintenance thing" and something about our policies, probably. First, as Alan correctly pointed out, this image has been uploaded two weeks ago, and hasn't been put to use anywhere, since. Memory Alpha is not an image archive - images uploaded here are supposed to be used in our articles, and if they aren't they will eventually be removed.
Second, the image description is missing some context allowing us to decide whether we even are the correct place for this image to be hosted. Is it from an official production, or is it fan-made? Is it part of some publication we already have an article for? Can the veracity of it be checked in some way? Depending on the answer to these questions, it may be the case that we are the correct place for this, or the related wikis "Memory Beta" or "Star Trek Expanded Universe" (see links on our main page), or none of it. For the moment and without further information, I'd lean towards deletion, too. -- Cid Highwind 10:45, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
I would love to know more about this before deciding either way, but if it comes down to it, if it isn't in use we shouldn't keep it. - Archduk3:talk 14:28, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
Provisional delete, unless new information comes up which would warrant its inclusion.--31dot 19:17, December 4, 2009 (UTC)

I understand, unfortunately I no longer have the prints (there were fore and aft images also) and I wanted to build one out of scratch someday. I have no other information as to who the author was. I do believe that there were no references on them. I was thinking that if someone recognized them, I could find thier origin. jjlongiii.

File:Borgvoyager.jpg - Scan from a magazine or something similar. File:USS Voyager partially assimilated.jpg already exists. — Morder (talk) 06:17, December 10, 2009 (UTC)

Delete. - Archduk3:talk 06:22, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
what is the reason for the file deletion? you talk about about everything that voyager has in scorpion but don't have a picture of voyager with all these weapons. so why? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Captian odierno‎ (talk • contribs).

Don't take it personal. It looks like an image from Star Trek: Communicator and if so it's not necessarily canon and an image from the show is more appropriate. — Morder (talk) 06:57, December 10, 2009 (UTC)

 • Delete. Not the greatest picture. The fact that it was found on "10 websites" doesn't mean that it isn't from a magazine, which it appears to be.--31dot 08:24, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
i got that pic for these 2 websites. so i don't see a problem with adding it. i know i am new to this but this picture is better then what is already there. it shows all the weapons on the hull here are the link employees.csbsju.edu/.../intrepid/index.html
what more do i have to do to keep this photo on the site. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Captian odierno‎ (talk • contribs).
