Deletion rationale[]

Basically the same as with "Interstellar ethics". Nothing of this appears in dialogue. I doubt this appeared in an okudagram or sth., since O'Brien was such a minor character in the TNG episode and just appeared in the transporter room. And in "Emissary", I don't think there were any okudagrams since so little action took on Starfleet ships. Kennelly (talk) 21:10, March 16, 2016 (UTC)

Discussion[]

  • Again, likely non-canon text from a book. Delete. -- LauraCC (talk) 21:17, March 16, 2016 (UTC)
  • I'd say more like fanon, but the conclusion is the same: Delete -- Capricorn (talk) 04:27, March 17, 2016 (UTC)
  • Oppose. According to this placard sold on eBay, the term was seen in background set material. On this placard, the term "Beam Technology" was used twice. I also think that the previously mentioned "Interstellar ethics" was created by using the term from the placard, Inter-stellar Ethnology. So keep for this article. • Comment - should have checked this before....I propose a merge with Beam Technology. Thats the article created from the information at the placard. The uncited portion of "Beam technology" should be removed. Tom (talk) 10:31, March 21, 2016 (UTC)
  • Comment. Agreed, also just found the other article, so changing my vote to merge. Kennelly (talk) 10:35, March 21, 2016 (UTC)
  • Changing my vote to merge too. -- Capricorn (talk) 12:18, March 25, 2016 (UTC)

Admin resolution[]

One vote for deletion and three votes for a merge. Article merged with the above linked "Beam Technology" and then the redirect deleted. Speculation was removed. Tom (talk) 15:41, March 25, 2016 (UTC)
