Deletion rationale[]
See Memory Alpha:Pages for deletion/Memory Alpha:Pages to be.... By that same token, we also already have Category:Memory Alpha requested articles, which could become "Category:Memory Alpha requests" to cover articles and files. -LauraCC (talk) 19:51, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
Alternately, we could merge the top paragraph of the page with "Category:Memory Alpha requested articles". -LauraCC (talk) 20:12, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
Discussion[]
Keep. The "pages to be..." page just contains auto-generated lists of pages, which is what categories are for. This page, on the other hand, serves as a hub for all file requests and is useful to link to instead of having to link to image, audio, and document requests separately. Plus, its page history includes records from back when those three pages were all in one, which would probably be wise for us to leave publicly accessible. 🖖 Mr. Starfleet Command (talk • contribs) 20:56, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
- That's reasonable. Is there any way we can make this page even more useful? -LauraCC (talk) 20:57, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
I added a paragraph directing readers to the file use policy, but there are probably other ways to make the page more useful. I'll improve it if I think of anything, and you can do the same. 🖖 Mr. Starfleet Command (talk • contribs) 21:07, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
