Deletion rationale[]
Per talk:Isis. Part of removing the actress name from the character is the removal of the actress. --Alan (talk) 20:40, November 13, 2018 (UTC)
Non-Appearance on Star Trek[]
This page is erroneous. The uncredited actress who played Isis was not Victoria Vetri. The speculation that she might be Vetri arose from a fan webpage (no longer online but archived at [1](X) ) whose author merely suggested it as a possibility based on a vague resemblance and on the information that Isis was played by a Playboy Playmate. The author never claimed it was anything more than a guess, but IMDb has incorrectly presented this speculation as a fact and many other sites have followed its lead, perpetuating the mistake. However, there are clear differences between the two women's features; Vetri has brown eyes and a speck of pigment on the white of her left eye, while the Isis actress has gray or green eyes and no speck. Vetri also has a softer bone structure to her face and a more curvaceous build.--CLBennett (talk) 17:36, October 3, 2014 (UTC)
I second the above comments. Author Greg Cox spoke at length about how Ms. Vetri did not play Isis in an episode of the podcast "Enterprising Individuals" last year. Dmitrioi (talk) 23:35, August 21, 2018 (UTC)
Furthermore, her professional website makes no mention of Star Trek, and the moderator of her Facebook page has specifically denied that it's her.

Page Should be deleted[]
A quote from Victoria Vetri, from the magazine LITTLE SHOPPE OF HORRORS (Issue #41, October 2018):
"I was never in an episode of STAR TREK. I know that people think I was. I get pictures to sign and I had to write back and say, 'Hey, that's not me . . . ' I am not sure who she was. Look close enough and you can see that she has blue eyes and I, of course, have brown. Whoever she was, she must not be around anymore as I am sure she would correct the mistake about me doing it, in all these articles."
Since Ms. Vetri has again emphatically denied she ever appeared on STAR TREK, I ask that someone more knowledgeable than I am nominate this page for deletion. She should not have an article here if she had no involvement in STAR TREK. Sir Rhosis (talk) 20:00, November 21, 2018 (UTC)
- No need to list this again. There is already a deletion page for this article as you can see on the article itself (linked at the top). -- Tom (talk) 20:03, November 21, 2018 (UTC)
- Ah, missed that. Thank you. Sir Rhosis (talk) 03:09, November 22, 2018 (UTC)

- Likewise. Proof found. --LauraCC (talk) 17:45, November 14, 2018 (UTC)
- Support. Per new sources. -- Tom (talk) 09:55, November 17, 2018 (UTC)
- Similar to what we did with Jonathan Lippe, we need to ensure that the erroneous identification is properly countered, so that someone doesn't recreate it again on the basis of residual faulty information floating around the 'net. Because, unlike Lippe, there is no other evidence that Vetri has a Trek connection, I suggest detailing the issue at Isis#Background information and redirecting this article there. -- Michael Warren | Talk 11:43, November 17, 2018 (UTC)

- I was only thinking in terms of discouraging people from posting and re-posting "facts" already proven untrue. Kind of how people who put nitpicks in the trivia section of episodes are promptly directed to MA:NIT. So people who propagate the same old Trek myths can be directed to a similar page for clarification. --LauraCC (talk) 15:24, November 22, 2018 (UTC)
- That is to say, one of our pages rather than googling it every time someone makes the error. --LauraCC (talk) 19:28, January 9, 2019 (UTC)
