This page outlines the rules and guidelines that apply to the use of video files on Memory Alpha. They are not absolute, for the most part, but it is generally expected that they be observed unless there is a good cause for ignoring them.
The basic overview:
- The rules and guidelines as outlined in the file use policy also apply to video files.
- Video files should only be linked to via a template.
- Video files will NOT be hosted on, or embedded in, the Memory Alpha database. There are no exceptions to this rule.
