Memory Alpha:Featured article removal candidates/Archive[]
Shouldn't this be for the unsuccessful removal attempts, as the successful ones should be stored on the articles talk page with the successful FA nomination. - Archduk3 16:47, March 31, 2011 (UTC)
- To me it seems that we should either archive them all here or none here, not have some here and some in the articles. I'm not sure which is better, having them here or with the articles. I'm not sure what the reason for the current structure is, if there is one. If they are located here, there could be a link posted on the relevant article's talk page.--31dot 08:18, April 1, 2011 (UTC)
Currently, when an article is featured the discussion is moved to the article's talk page, so it's easy to find for reference. When an article is removed as a FA though, the discussion is moved here for some reason while the unsuccessful discussions are placed on the article's talk page. That just doesn't track anymore, so one, or both, of them should be changed. I think successful discussions on both ends should be stored on the article talk page as they are relevant to the articles status, while unsuccessful discussions should be stored in the respective archives, since they may not be relevant. - Archduk3 05:51, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
- I agree with Archduk3. If we do it for featured discussions, then we should do it for removal discussions aswell. --| TrekFan Open a channel 14:20, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
- I'm also in agreement with Archduk3; successful nominations as well as successful de-nominations in the article's talk pages, the unsuccessful ones archived...It has a nice consistency about them...Sennim 16:20, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
- That makes sense to me as well.--31dot 17:07, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
