Ensign Meredith was a female Human operations division junior officer who served aboard the USS Cerritos under Captain Carol Freeman during the early 2380s.

When she was young, Meredith's father took her to a beach, where she saw a dead fish. (LD: "Upper Decks")

In 2381, Meredith was an engineer who was tasked with the week-long cleanup of the ship's systems following the Cerritos' encounter with a D'Arsay archive. She, along with the rest of the engineering staff, was put on mandatory retreat aboard the Dove, where, among other things, she was given a massage and a mani-pedi. (LD: "Room for Growth")

Meredith was later in main engineering when Commander Andy Billups briefed the engineering staff on his expectations during the mission race that the Cerritos was facing against the USS Aledo. (LD: "The Stars At Night")

Meredith was one of three ensigns that Lieutenant junior grade Brad Boimler supervised in his first away mission as the commanding officer. She was initially unimpressed by his leadership until he changed his approach and delegated meaningful responsibilities to the subordinate ensigns. (LD: "In the Cradle of Vexilon")

In 2382, she informed Billups of a burnt-out indicator light in engineering. When Billups discovered that retrofitted plasma canisters were about to explode, she assisted him in preventing an overload. Unfortunately, a recently installed Artificial intelligence defense golem trapped Billups in a containment chamber and had to be deactivated before they could continue with repairs. After telling the golem a sad story from her childhood, Meredith was able to deactivate the golem and rescue Billups. At that point, the pair were able to decouple the deuterium control conduits before the thermal blankets pushed the valve blocks into the adjustment coils. When the crisis was over, Meredith felt comfortable enough to call Billups by his first name, but he told her that was inappropriate while they were on duty. (LD: "Upper Decks")

Meredith was voiced by Charlotte Nicdao in "Room for Growth" and "In the Cradle of Vexilon".
