Merrin Dungey (born 6 August 1971; age 54) is an American actress who played Richter in the Star Trek: Picard first season episode "Remembrance" and voiced characters in Star Trek: Lower Decks.
She also provided the narrator voice for Picard's first live-action teaser trailer which was released on 23 May 2019. [1]
In 1996, Dungey appeared in the Babylon 5 episode "Messages From Earth", starring Claudia Christian, Bill Mumy and Jeff Conaway, with Vaughn Armstrong. From 1999 to 2007, she played the recurring role of "Kelly Palmer" on The King of Queens, starring Patton Oswalt. From 2001 to 2003, Dungey played the character of Francie Calfo on J.J. Abrams' Alias (on which Alex Kurtzman was an executive producer), alongside Victor Garber, Greg Grunberg and Melissa George. She also guest starred in Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
