Metro Plaza was an Earth plaza located in the city of Los Angeles, California.
Metro Plaza was the location of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, as well as a large fountain.
In 1996, Rain Robinson asked Henry Starling to pick her up in Metro Plaza, by the fountain, as part of a ruse designed to allow the crew of the USS Voyager to capture him. (VOY: "Future's End, Part II")
In the first draft script of "Future's End, Part II", this area was instead referred to as "LA Plaza" in Rain's line of dialogue, though it was consistently called "Metro Plaza" in the same teleplay's stage directions. The dialogue referred to it as "Metro Plaza" by the time the final draft of the script was written.
There is, in reality, no Metro Plaza in Los Angeles. The scenes set there were actually filmed at the Music Center on Grand Avenue in LA. (Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 2, p. 39
