Michael Jace (born 13 July 1962; age 61) played the USS Odyssey's first officer in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine second season episode "The Jem'Hadar".

He appeared in many successful movies such as Forrest Gump (1994), Clear and Present Danger (1994), Boogie Nights (1997), The Replacements (2000), Planet of the Apes (2001, with Erick Avari, Cary-Hiroyuki, Anne Elizabeth Ramsay, Deep Roy, David Warner and Michael Wiseman), Bathsheba and Fair Game (both 2005). He later appeared in Gridiron Gang (2006), which also featured Leon Rippy and Dwayne Johnson.

He also played Julien Lowe, a regular on The Shield, along with Jay Karnes, Abby Brammell and Benito Martinez.

Jace was arrested on suspicion of homicide for the murder of his wife, April Jace, on 20 May, 2014. On 31 May 2016, Jace was convicted of second-degree murder. On June 10, he was sentenced to 40 years in prison. [1]
