Michelle Phillips (born 4 June 1944; age 77) appeared in the Star Trek: The Next Generation first season episode "We'll Always Have Paris" as Jenice Manheim.

Before moving on to acting, Phillips was a member of the pop group The Mamas & the Papas, with whom she co-wrote the hit-single California Dreamin'. She was a regular on Knots Landing, playing Anne Matheson Sumner from 1987 to 1993, and has numerous film and television appearances to her credit. She guest-starred in an episode of T.J. Hooker, starring William Shatner, James Darren, and Richard Herd, eight episodes of Fantasy Island, starring Ricardo Montalban, and three episodes of 7th Heaven, starring Stephen Collins and Catherine Hicks.

Phillips has been married five times, including for several years to Grainger Hines.
