Mike May (ca. 19396 March 2015; age ~76) worked in the art department on the second and third season of Star Trek: The Original Series, serving as the assistant of set decorator John M. Dwyer, with whom he continued to work with for several years, thereafter.

Years later, he was the assistant property master on the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation, again under Dwyer. He received no credit for his work but his name is listed on the call sheets for the episodes "Too Short A Season" and "Angel One". He retired at the end of the first season.

During the 1970s, May worked as leadman on the horror film Jaws (1975), and as the assistant property master for the musical comedy Sextette (1978).

During the 1980s he worked on the television series The A-Team (with Dwight Schultz), and was the property master on the action film Escape from New York (1981), and the horror sequel Friday the 13th Part III (1982; with Steve Susskind).
