The mining shuttle Nenebek

In starship classification mining shuttle was a type of auxiliary craft employed for the extraction of minerals or other geological deposits in space. Mining shuttles were generally smaller than mining vessels.

The Nenebek was a mining shuttle that was in service during the mid to late-24th century. In 2367, it was captained by Dirgo, who had logged almost ten thousand hours in the ship prior to its crash landing on Lambda Paz. (TNG: "Final Mission")
