Mister Doom and Gloom was a nickname given to Julian Bashir by Miles O'Brien to describe the doctor's pessimistic outlook while Worf and Ezri Dax were being held captive in 2375. Bashir admitted he had been worried. (DS9: "The Changing Face of Evil")
