A modulating plasma pulse was a type of powerful plasma discharge that could be fired from a Na'kuhl plasma rifle.

In 1944 of an alternate timeline created by multiple temporal incursions by various factions in the Temporal Cold War, Vosk, the Na'kuhl leader, offered to supply the the German Generalmajor with these weapons, which he claimed produced a modulating plasma pulse equivalent to three 88-millimeter shells and was capable of destroying a Panzer IV tank.
