The Moore was a Federation Moore-type shuttlecraft that was in service with Starfleet in the mid-23rd century.
In 2258, upon the mobilization of all Starfleet cadets to respond to a distress call from Vulcan, the Moore was used to ferry cadets from Hangar 1 in San Francisco, to Starbase 1 where several starships were moored. (Star Trek)
The Moore is seen in the background as Spock and Nyota Uhura are discussing her assignment to the USS Farragut.
The Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 2, p. 52 stated that this shuttle was attached to Starfleet Academy.
