Mousa Hussein Kraish (born 21 November 1975; age 49) is an actor who played the Titan cook in the Star Trek: Picard third season episode "The Last Generation". Despite having several lines of dialogue, he was not credited for his role. [1]
Kraish was born to Palestinian immigrant parents in Brooklyn, New York City, where his family owned a small grocery store. He earned a BA degree in film and a BFA in creative writing at Brooklyn College, and worked as a photographer and cinematographer for various companies before turning to acting. He spent two years studying theater at the Atlantic Theater Company.
He can be seen in episodes of series such as Arrested Development (with Gary Cole), Covert Affairs (with Patrick Kwok-Choon), Blue Bloods (starring Len Cariou), Chuck (starring Bonita Friedericy, directed by Allan Kroeker), Homeland (with F. Murray Abraham), and Designated Survivor (starring Zoe McLellan, with Jake Michaels). In 2017-19, he had a recurring role in ten episodes of Bryan Fuller's American Gods (with Chris Obi and Yvette McKoy).
Kraish also appeared in supporting roles in several films, including Munich (2005, starring Eric Bana), King of California (2007, with Max Grodénchik), Superbad (2007, with Tim Trella), You Don't Mess with the Zohan (2008, with George Takei), The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008, with Robert Knepper, Alisen Down, Roger Cross, Hiro Kanagawa, Geoff Meed, and Kevan Kase), Justin Lin's Fast & Furious (2009), and The Dictator (2012, with Anna Katarina).
