A multitronic engrammatic interpreter was a component that used multitronic technology to encode and decode signals from the neural pathways of the brain.
In 2375, Doctor Julian Bashir and Miles O'Brien used a multitronic engrammatic interpreter to link their minds to that of the Section 31 operative Luther Sloan in an attempt to extract the cure for the morphogenic virus. (DS9: "Extreme Measures")
