The NCIA-93 type was a class of Federation starship utilized by Section 31 during the 2250s.
Technical data
Ships of this type had the ability to alter their appearance; disguising themselves as another object - such as an asteroid. They also used tractor rigs to boost the strength of the tractor beams. When necessary they could mask their warp signature to prevent detection (DIS: "Saints of Imperfection", "Perpetual Infinity")
They could also emit graviton beams from their deflector array. (DIS: "The Red Angel")
Physical arrangement
Ships of this type were smaller than contemporary Crossfield-class vessels and were constructed with a darker hull color than other Federation vessels of the era. The primary hull was a triangle - similar to the 22nd century design used by United Earth.
They were able to retract its nacelle pylons when not at warp.
Internal structure
Internally, the NCIA-93 type featured a two-story bridge and a drab, with an overall minimalist design. Corridors and rooms aboard these ships were considerably darker. (DIS: "Point of Light", "Light and Shadows", "Saints of Imperfection")

Background information
The camouflage system is similar to a feature of a Romulan drone ship fielded shortly before the Earth-Romulan War. That ship used multispectral emitters to achieve the effect.
The computer systems aboard NCIA-93 appear to be different from those on USS Shenzhou and USS Discovery, and are visually similar to LCARS.
The retracted nacelle mode was called "dark mode" in concept art. [1] They are visually similar to the Intrepid-class's variable geometry pylons.
