Naara was Degra's wife and friend for many years. They married in 2136 and had two children, named Piral and Jaina. (ENT: "Stratagem") A third child, to have been named Trenia, died as a result of Naara contracting Anaprolean Fever during her pregnancy. (ENT: "Azati Prime")
Naara's husband was killed by Dolim as revenge for Degra's destruction of a Xindi-Reptilian starship. As Degra was dying, Dolim vowed to find and kill Naara and their children as well. However, Dolim himself was killed by Jonathan Archer before he could carry out his promise. (ENT: "The Council", "Zero Hour")

Naara was presumably a member of the Xindi-Primate species, as was her husband, Degra. The Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 62) described Naara as a "Xindi-Primate woman".
