Nancy Anne Parsons (17 January 1942–5 January 2001; age 58) was an actress who portrayed Marouk in the Star Trek: The Next Generation third season episode "The Vengeance Factor".
Parsons was best known for her memorable role as Coach Beulah Balbricker in all three installments of the Porky's movie series, which also featured The Next Generation guest star Wyatt Knight and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine guest star Cyril O'Reilly, and the first of which featured Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country star Kim Cattrall and the third was directed by James Komack. Parsons also filled character roles in the movies Sudden Impact (1983), Steel Magnolias (1989, featuring Bibi Besch and Tom Hodges), and Ladybugs (1992, with Jandi Swanson and Jeannetta Arnette). Among her minor film roles, she was cast as a nurse five times.
Parsons guest starred on many television programs of the 1970s and 1980s. Her credits included L.A. Law (1992, with Corbin Bernsen and Lynne Thigpen), Night Court (1986, with John Larroquette, Leslie Bevis, Nicholas Worth and William Utay), Moonlighting (1989, with Charles Rocket, Bruce French, and Inez Edwards), Remington Steele (1983, starring Pierce Brosnan), The Rockford Files (1978, with Byron Morrow), and Charlie's Angels (1978, starring Kate Jackson). Parsons made her last known on screen appearances in episodes of Days of Our Lives (1996, with Renée Jones, Jason Brooks, and Stan Ivar) and The Pretender (1998).
She passed away in 2001 in La Crosse, Wisconsin as a result of diabetes complications and congestive heart failure. [1]
