Breen neural truncheon, 'Til death do us part

A Breen neural truncheon

The neural truncheon was a weapon used by the Breen in close combat. On contact, it sent a surge of electricity throughout the body that paralyzed the target. Repeated contact may result in short-term damage to the brain, such as a concussion or temporary coma. (DS9: "'Til Death Do Us Part", "Strange Bedfellows")

Breen soldiers continued to carry truncheons into the 32nd century. In 3191, Jett Reno commented of them: "Truncheons, jackboots, where's the nuance?" (DIS: "Mirrors", "Erigah")

The name Neural truncheon originated from the source's script. [1]
