Nhan was a Barzan officer holding the rank of commander who served on the USS Enterprise under Captain Christopher Pike in the year 2257. Along with Evan Connolly, she accompanied Captain Pike onto the USS Discovery when the Enterprise suffered a malfunction. She was also a part of the team that investigated the crashed wreckage of the USS Hiawatha. (DIS: "Brother").
