Nicole Orth-Pallavicini (born 19 January 1954; age 71) is the actress who played Kareel Odan in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episode "The Host". She filmed her scenes on Monday 18 March 1991 on Paramount Stage 9.

Orth-Pallavicini, sister to actress Terri Orth-Pallavicini and singer and stage actress Karen Akers, was a regular on All My Children? in 1988, originating the role of Marissa Rampal. She was also a regular on the soap opera Loving during the 1980s, and went on to become a regular on another soap opera, One Life to Live, in 1997, becoming the fourth actress to play Melinda Cramer Janssen. She reprised the role in a 2005 episode.

Her additional television credits include the 1989 television movie Christine Cromwell: Things That Go Bump in the Night (co-starring Theodore Bikel, James Cromwell, John de Lancie, and Ellen Albertini Dow) and guest spots on Jake and the Fatman, Gabriel's Fire (starring James Earl Jones and Madge Sinclair), and Law & Order (1993 & 2003, former with fellow Next Generation guest Carolyn McCormick and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine guest stars Gail Strickland and Fritz Weaver,latter with Erick Avari). She also had a supporting role in Christine Cromwell: Things That Go BumpThe Doctor (1991 film)|The Doctor}} (1991, with Fran Bennett and Brian Markinson) and appeared as a reporter in Sliver (1993, with Jim Beaver and Leonard Kelly-Young).

Later in 2007, she had a role in Shooting Johnson Roebling.
