Nucleonic charge

A nucleonic charge was an explosive device utilized by the Hirogen in the 24th century.

In 2374, Turanj, an Hirogen hunter who had participated in the subjugation of the crew of the USS Voyager, requested three nucleonic charges for the purpose of penetrating the structure of a building on the holodeck where members of the Voyager crew had taken refuge. Turanj's superior officer, Karr, however, refused Turanj's request, as Karr feared that nucleonic charges might damage Voyager's holodeck, thereby inhibiting Karr's plans of using the technology for the betterment of his people.
