(written from a Production point of view)
"O Discovery, Where Art Thou?" is the first episode of After Trek and discusses the events of "The Vulcan Hello" and "Battle at the Binary Stars". It is also the only episode of the series to have a title different from the episode being discussed.
Hosted by Matt Mira, it originally aired live on CBS All Access on 24 September 2017, before being made available to stream on the platform. It also aired on Space that day, and was released by Netflix on 25 September 2017.
The guests were Aaron Harberts and James Frain in the studio, and Akiva Goldsman, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Michelle Yeoh in Toronto. Also appearing briefly were Doug Jones, Shazad Latif, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, and Mary Chieffo.
The episode also included a pre-recorded interview segment with Chris Obi, behind-the-scenes footage of the spacewalk sequence from "The Vulcan Hello", the construction of the USS Shenzhou bridge, and a preview of "Context Is for Kings".
