Captain Sisko views a recreation of an obelisk

An obelisk was a type of tall, tapering monument, consisting of a pyramid on a column.

The ancient Egyptians built obelisks, and obelisks were present on ancient Vulcan as well. (TAS: "How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth"; VOY: "One Small Step")

An obelisk (known as a Bantaca spire) was located in the center of the Bajoran city of B'hala. It was included in an icon painting of the city. In 2373, Captain Benjamin Sisko was able to recreate the obelisk in one of Quark's holosuites. Using the holoprogram, Sisko was able to find B'hala and the obelisk. (DS9: "Rapture")

The Vulcan Kir'Shara was obelisk-shaped. (ENT: "Kir'Shara")

Statue in antican guest quarters

An obelisk statue

An obelisk-shaped statue adorned the Antican guest quarters aboard the USS Enterprise-D in 2364. (TNG-R: "Lonely Among Us")

This prop also appeared in Kirk's apartment in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, in Tasha Yar's quarters in TNG-R: "The Naked Now" and in the Café des Artistes in TNG-R: "We'll Always Have Paris". With flowers inside, it can also be seen in the guest quarters in TNG-R: "The Neutral Zone".
