These three Odin crewmembers drifted for five months in three of the ship's escape pods until they reached the nearest M-class planet, Angel I. There, they found native women and decided to stay together against the rules of the Parliament of Angel I. After their connection was discovered, and the leader, Beata, the Elected One, judged them all guilty, they would have been killed, but on the advice of Commander William T.
