The office of the Federation President in 2293

An office or study was a workplace in a room inside a building.

High ranking officials used to have offices such as the Federation President or Starfleet flag officers. It normally featured a desk and models of various starships or space stations. (ENT: "Regeneration"; Star Trek Into Darkness; Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country)

Admiral Maxwell Forrest had an office with view on the Golden Gate Bridge. (ENT: "Fortunate Son")

According to the call sheet, Forrest's office was built and filmed on Paramount Stage 8.

Doctor Tristan Adams had a study at the Tantalus Colony. (TOS: "Dagger of the Mind")

This room was called a "study" in on-screen dialogue, but was almost consistently termed an "office" in the script of "Dagger of the Mind" (apart from in the line of dialogue which calls it a "study"). In the same document, the area was described as "a remarkably pleasant office, far from being the sterile and 'stuffy' abode of a scientist. Set dressing carries out the personalized feeling, emphasizing what we see of Adams' character... a man interested in many things, artistic, comfortable, masculine interests as well as scientific."

Groppler Zorn had an office with a wooden door. (TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint")
