Open Court Publishing is a publisher specializing in books on science and philosophy. In 2008, as part of its Popular Culture and Philosophy series, it published the essay collection Star Trek and Philosophy.
Part of the Carus Publishing Company, Open Court was acquired by the ePals Corporation in 2011. ePals rebranded under the name Cricket Media in 2014, which maintains Open Court as a legacy publishing division. [1]
