Ore is a mixture of materials from which minerals could be refined.

In early 2153, the Seleya made it into the Delphic Expanse and entered an asteroid field to mine trellium ore and refine it into trellium-D. (ENT: "The Expanse")

A scanning device was kept in the transporter room of the USS Enterprise to detect any possible contaminants caused by ores not filter out in the transport process. (TOS: "The Enemy Within")

Regula, described as a "great rock in space" with a few "unremarkable ores," was also a class D planet. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)
